Conclusion
Sweden is one of the few countries in the world that provide complete security and comfort to the journalists and media professionals. The online media is witnessing the best of the development at the moment with the country’s leading broadcaster Sverigesradio offering a huge selection of news in English language using its website.
Government Subsidiary
Bonnier Tidskrifter AB enjoys the government subsidiary more than any other publication operating in the country. Some of the country’s most popular magazines like Amelia, Teknikens Värld, Allt om Mat and Veckans Affärer are owned by the Bonnier Tidskrifter AB group.
Allers förlag is the other leading publisher of Sweden as it owns Egmont, which publishes content in Danish, and French language publication Hachette Filipacchi Médias.
Readership
The readership in Sweden is so much so that the membership magazines such as Vår bostad recorded readership of over 300 000. PRO-pensionären, Kommunalarbetaren, Siftidningen and Dagens Arbete are among the other Swedish magazines that enjoy such a high readership.
Controversy
Even though the Swedish media is far away from the political inclinations, crime reporting in the nation has not been up to the mark in the recent past. In 2019, the mainstream media of Sweden was accused of not covering the Bombings in Sweden.
While the propelling industry knows no bounds, we at MediaBuzz are working hard to provide encyclopedic coverage of all the news sources. We are a team of professional writers with a knack for the trends in the world of journalism.
